Itätalo
is a fine example of a wealthy Farmer’s Manor in the 19th
Century. It as a nationally significant cultural environment under the
protection of The National Regional Planning Authority . The
courtyard of today looks as it did in the 1800’s, when vast extensions
were made and the main buildings were erected or restored. Buildings in
their present locations appear on Finland’s first General Survey maps
from the 1600’s, but according to tradition the place has been inhabited
since at least the early Middle Ages.
