The sauna of
Teuvo Askonen from Eura was awarded the title "best smoke sauna of the
year 2003" on the sauna-festival in Ikaalinen.
The annual smoke sauna competition is open for all owners of smoke sauna. The
competition is divided into two categories, private and corporate saunas.
The candidate-saunas are tested in accordance with prescribed schedule by
seven trained test-persons.
The test-group consists of members of the International Sauna Club and the
society "Ikaalisten Löylynlyöjät"
The competition of 2003 was participated by 11 smoke saunas. The title was
awarded to the kiln sauna of Mr Teuvo Askonen from Eura
