Ebay auction,
reserve not met with £325.55. Serial 64,
really? Very intriguing. I hope the seller
wasn't mistyping it. |

They used the
device in an aircraft flight simulator to
trigger sampled alarm sounds on Akai S900
sampler before the actual simulator software
was updated. |

Zyklus was
brought for service. According to my source, it
was quite badly shaped, totally rusted and
needed several replacement components. The
owner wanted to be hidden. Might have been big
name? |

Zyklus was
brought for Bill Marshall himself to service.
The owner wanted to be hidden. |

Definitely the
most famous user. He bought one immediately in
1987 (the first one?) and with it he improvised
entire Acropolis
Preservation Fund concert. He liked it so
much that he hired the designers to create new
more advanced custom device for him, which
became the famous "Direct-box". |

More
famous from the "White noise" band. Zyklus was
used only in "White Noise V - Sound mind"
album, sequencing Korg Wavestation, Roland
D-110, E-MU and Ensoniq EPS

Entire
band was named after Zyklus! The Zyklus band
used three Zyklus units at the same time!!! The
band was formed in 1988 with the aim of
exploring the boundaries of composition and
improvisation. It is a live electronic jazz
orchestra producing both composed and
semi-improvised music to inspire an improvising
soloist. |
