Red Tulip Petals

This picture was taken in 1983 with Pentax LX camera and Pentax f:4/100 mm macro lens at about f:11 - with bellows. The reproduction ratio is about the maximum for the lens - or is it a slight focusing error? The automatic exposure is unrecorded - with Fujichrome 100 - the image was shot with dedicated TTL electronic flash illuminating the petals from behind. The backlighting highlights the edges and this makes the picture.

This is a very simple composition - so simple that for some people it is quite boring. I like it though.
